i voted for my first time today! i voted like all republicans except i voted Stenholm (D). i really don't know much about the other guy. he, Neugebauer (R), won. and i actually don't care. Stenholm has been in office FOREVER--20 some odd years. it's time for someone else to have a chance lol. from what i've heard, i agree with both of their views and all, so it's all cool lol. For the big one, the president, i voted for Bush. it seems like a lot of people from my school will be really upset if Kerry won. i think it would be funny to see how the world reacts to Kerry winning lol. and Bush already has had time in office, someone else should have time now lol. but i REALLY don't want Kerry to win. i don't agree with a lot of stuff he believes in and will prob do and stuff. this whole voting thing is weird cause it's not my vote that would really count nationally, just for the state.
i had an english test today. i so failed that. i don't think a lot of the class feel that good about it. i had a bible quiz today, made an 100. CISBA quiz is opinional tomorrow--and if we take it and don't do good, the grade is opinonal too. i'm not gonna take it though--why take it if i have a good grade in the class, don't wanna study, and have 2 other (tough) test to study for? spanish and government test are tomorrow. i feel pretty good about the government one.
i have fun, excited weekends like every weekend for the next 2 months:
this weekend--Girls Conference
the next weekend--research paper finally over with, we host a wedding shower for billie
the next weekend--mel in town
the next weekend--thanksgiving near San Antonio and then to something in Austin
the next weekend--church's 75th celebration
the next weekend--future sister-in-law's graduation
the next weekend--bridesmaid for billie's wedding
the next weekend--christmas break
:)
AIM away messages today that cracked me up:
--"look at all that beautiful republican red on that electoral map, let's face it, Kerry is no Moses, he can't part the red sea..."
--"If John Kerry, John Edwards, and Hillary Clinton were in a leaky rowboat in the middle of the ocean with only one life jacket and the boat sank who would be saved? the country"
i guess that's it for now. more later.
