I got my bridesmaid's dress for billie's wedding today! 1 Month and 19 Days!!! you have no idea how excited i am! one of my favorite teachers asked ME to be in her wedding! how tight is that. haha. there are some others from school in it, but carrie and i are the only ones that are bridesmaids! others are like ushers, having people sign the guestbook or something, and serving cake. the dress is strapless/small straps, 2 piece, black with a shawl/sash or something--so formal--it's cool! i don't know how i'm supposed to wear the shawl or whatever exactly, but i guess i will find out sometime lol. the skirt part is kinda long. the top half is kinda tight, but it's prob like it should be (i don't like tight fitting tops...oh well. the pain i go thru to be in a fav teacher's wedding and be pretty--just joking). mom said the top part can be seen down.
tonight was the haunted village. rode there and home with billie. it's feels kinda weird to ride with her when i could drive, but my mom doesn't really wanna me to drive so late in the dark and all. i kinda don't want to either, but i know that i could easily do it. but i'm not complaining. billie rocks, so i'm happy haha. i used to ride with her places a lot, but not as much anymore, so this extra time alone with her is awesome. we have fun convos lol. i totally understand mom wanting me to get a ride on halloween though--we aren't finishing till around midnight! so anyway. i got there, and after a while i went to the dressing room to change. this girl saw me and was like "you look really familiar." i was like hmm alright--someone thought i looked familar the other day and thought maybe she knew me from competing in a speech tournment or something--so today i was like ok whatever i prob just look like someone. then this girl today was like "what school did you go to for Kindergarten?" i was like "Jackson." she was like "omg, did you have Mrs Partin and Mrs Davis?" i was like "yeah..." she was like "omg, i was in that class! i'm Kimberly Burns. i remember when we ate lunch beside each other and your mom always packed you peanut butter balls...i always wanted to ask if i could have some, but i didn't want to be rude." haha it was crazy--i haven't seen her since like kindergarten! it's weird--at the haunted village, 2 people doing it are people i've known but haven't seen in forever (last night i talked about a girl from a girl scout troop we were in). so, the haunted village. i was back to what i was the first night. we made a new prop for me since we lost the old one. wasn't really happy about that at first. i didn't really have fun the first night. i wasn't enjoying just lying there and screaming when i can't really scream good lol. and being stuck on the ground cause i thought it would be too much trouble to move the prop, get up, move around, then have to hurry and get back down and put the prop back in place. but i decided to get up and move around today anyway, and it worked out pretty well. i also decided to face the other way after awhile, and that worked out well. i could see if people might step on me lol. and it was easier for people to see what i was doing, instead of having to glance back or something. i think the only time someone run into me or anything was when someone run into the side of my foot...didn't leave a mark like it did my hand (i have all these scars on my right hand lol--from when someone stepped on it, a bite, 2 burns). i put fake blood all over my legs, and it kinda made me feel more into character. but i didn't like to put my dress over the bloody legs, cause it made the dress feel like it was sticky to the dress. even though it was--i just don't like that feeling. so i like hold the dress up the whole night. tucked it around underwear some too lol. cleaned part of it off before changing back to my clothes so that it wouldn't be as sticky, but it still kinda was. i rolled my pants up to come home lol. i'm supposed to scream when people walk by me, but i'm not really a loud screamer, so that doesn't really work out well. i think i did alright through. i think it sounded like a scream like "omg this hurts," which is prob what it should sound like ;) lol. also, people would walk by, i'll scream, there would be a gap, then more people would be coming with that group, but i don't scream again most times lol. oh well. so anyway, tonight was actually kinda funner than the first night when i didn't really have fun. i don't think i scare anybody though. i don't think some people understand what i'm supposed to be lol. i think i just scare them because all of a sudden they look at me and see a person lying on the ground lol. oh, the actors got to walk through the haunted village tonight. it was pretty good. i can't really recall to you what all was done though lol. i wanted to hear the storyteller at the beginning :( lol oh well. we didn't have a real tourguide, the person who took us knew the basic things the tourguide said, but improved it for the most part. so it just wasn't really the same. but i think the best parts were the Marshall Tom Hill House and The Clyde Railroad Depot.
we had Fresh Bread (Highland/ACS event) today at lunch. so i didn't eat with my usual, great group. but they brought us Chicken Express at Fresh Bread, so i'm happy
tomorrow--we have a guest speaker in CISBA, talking about the sepeation of church and state to prepare us to write a letter on it to the supreme court--which i think is crazy since this is NOT a government class--the only thing that relates to CISBA about it is that we use the letterheads we made on it. i think the MS theatre class is gonna start watching "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" tomorrow. **Something familiar, something peculiar, Something for everyone, a comedy tonight! Something appealing, something appalling, Something for everyone, a comedy tonight!** i LOVE that song hehe. and i get to see my fav MS theatre girls again--and be with billie--oh the little things that make me happy. i have a spanish pre-quiz over writing the verse and saying...if i made 100 on it, i don't have to do it again the next week. i THINK i'm ready for the pre-quiz. i haven't made an 100 on a pre-quiz yet, so it will be nice if i did this time lol. we aren't supposed to have english lab tomorrow :)
i leave town right after school tomorrow. i may not even get to come home after school before leaving town, which i would like to do (come home first) after a long day at school. we are going for my grandma's birthday bash in Denton. kind of a family reunion, but not really...only MOST of my moms sibs and their wifes/husband, one great (i think just one great--maybe two) uncle, about 4 cousins, and 3 kids of cousins will be there. the cousins' kids is the only part i am looking forward to at all right now. one kid can have a attitude and can be rude to her brother (who is rude back to her), but it's still the only thing i'm looking foward to right now. kinda excited about getting some time off of the haunted village too, but that's only KINDA excited. let's just say that my aunts and uncles are a very...intersting...group. also--there's 7 kids in the family, and i can't keep everyone stright of who they are married to, their kids, and where they live. it's crazy. one of my brothers is coming back to town after a night, but he will have his girlfriend with him, and mom wouldn't let me leave with them. i don't wanna spend 2 nights there, and i'll prob be bored after a night--maybe even before the night is over lol. the girls are going shopping and eating out together one afternoon, and i'm not even looking forward to that--i don't wanna be out with them for long, we will prob eat somewhere i don't like, and i'm not a big shopper.
