Oct 26

tonight was the first night the haunted village was opened to the public--it was a LITTLE better than yesterday. thankfully, it didn't rain during it today. it was muddy, but not rainy lol. i couldn't find my dress (i handed it to someone last night)--i looked forever--so i picked a different one. we couldn't find the thing i have set on my dress, so i just went as a dead/screaming person. without it, i felt more free to walk around the building and outside and all when tours were not coming, so that was awesome--one reason tonight was a little better than yesterday. i wanted to switch parts with melissa, but she didn't want to -- she agreed for us to switch for one tour, but...hmm...well, that didn't work well and i decided i didn't really like it, so we switched back. i can't really scream, and she said when we had switched, she made like a hissing/coughing up hair sound. i tried it, and did it pretty well--so that was cool. so i planned to act dead (which i only really did once lol) and then sit up and make that sound when people walked past, and then sometimes follow the people out of the building. i asked melissa how the volume of the sound was each time, and she said it wasn't too good. i think i only "scared" someone once. oh i thought of how i could act if we find the thing. act out what is going on, and THEN die. prob what i was supposed to do but yeah

school today--
*CIBSA: this guest speaker came to talk about some supreme court thing. we are writing letters to the court about the seperation of church and state. why we are doing this in CISBA is beyond me. the only thing that makes it CISBA related is we are using the letterheads we learned to make
*government: talked about the CISBA speaker (the g'ment teacher had listened to her too), Ruby Bridges movie. i am really enjoying that movie
*class meetings/break
*english: mainly read Sir Gawin And The Green Knight or something like that. actually understood it, which was good. when we read it aloud, we always stop and talk about what we read, which is good
*bible: omg this teacher is like so lazy. he like so doesn't teach. we are learning about marriage right now. oh boy. to learn about it, pretty much all we are doing is reading some book about marriage. oh joy. we had a quiz on the intro of the book today, and i had read the intro twice and felt good on it--hmm yeah didn't do good on the quiz--i don't think anyone did. today, we also had to like write down what characteristics we want in a mate, and then what we think the opposite sex looks for in a mate. and we started reading alone the next chapter in the book. i don't really remember what else we did today lol
*math apps: we all somewhat worked on the worksheets together
*lunch with my usual group :)
*off period: didn't really have homework, mainly just read for pleasure
*spanish: mainly vocab-sheet and diction
*yearbook: i am like so ahead on my spreads. well, kinda. i was assigned like 4 spreads for the year, and i am pretty much done with 3 of them. today, i worked on stuff on them, checked email, talked on AIM, etc

tomorrow is wednesday! wednesdays rock! after english at least. oh and chapel is usually good too--and eating a roll at break lol. anyway, we have bigbrothers/bigsisters instead of bible class, then right after i get back from that i have mathapps with one of my fav teachers, then i eat lunch with friends and my other fav teacher, then i am a theatre aide for the second teacher i mentioned--and i love some of the class esp jaci (some of the class i don't like, like some of the A.D.D. type kids lol). right after that is spanish and english lab, which isn't always good, but oh well. it's not HORRIBLE. wednesday nights are huddles, and it depends on what we do and stuff that makes it good or bad (tomorrow is the haunted village though, hehe)...
