Sept 23
we had a bible test today...a lot of the T/F questions were pretty tricky. the teacher graded them, but didn't give them back yet (somone still has to take it), but he told us that one person made a A/B, one failed, and the rest made in the 70s. i made a 74, so i'm happy-i passed! the teacher wouldn't give us back the test though -- too much talk of "hey this should be True!" or "that was a trick question" or something. we have to go by his office if we even want to look over them.
we didn't do anything spanish related in spanish today. except i finished a poster project thingie but i didn't have to write anything in spanish on it. i was muy happy.
tonight was my first "real" musical practice. i'm emily/a Lady...emily is a small part...a non-speaking role only in a little section of one sence i think...but the Ladies are part of the chorus. i don't think i'm a very good singer, and i'm usually a pretty quiet person, but the 2 songs we worked on today i REALLY like, so i think i did good since i enjoyed the songs so much! lol.
"We have an opening for a princess, for a genuine, certified princess!"
"Fill the bowl to overflowing, raise the goblet high! with a F and a R and a E and a D...and a F-R-E-D, FRED, yeah!"
i'm pretty busy for about the next month, with the ACT tomorrow (hopefully i'll get out of the english lab! :-/), AAG haunted village stuff, seeing ACU freshmen follies/maybe AHS anne frank, homecoming skit stuff, the musical, ACS homecoming, ACU homecoming, and english research paper/school/homework. at least i'm pretty excited about most of that stuff! :)
my toe hurts!!! ouch! i just stabbed it on a chair and my room when i was running to my CD player to turn down the sound cause my sister was yelling that it was too loud (it hurt like all night and part of the next day)!
billie--i hope your cut heals quickly! love ya lots.
