Sept 22
i had so many test/quizes today!
--CISBA: POP QUIZ...pretty easy, we got a printout and we had to duplicate it, and it told us how to copy it (what font, size, etc to use)
--government: TEST...her test are so hard! but i did good on the first one this year a couple of weeks ago and i think i did good today, so maybe government test wouldn't be too bad this year! there was like 2 questions that i had trouble on. oh and like 2-3 T/F and where we had a list of powers and we had to put if they were the President's, the Senate's, or the House's. but i think i did good on the rest...i think i passed the test...yay! :)
--chapel/break
--english: no test. read some short poems and questions on them. ugh. don't understand cause of the Old English or whatever they are written in
--bible: no test...it's tomorrow. we started Big Brothers/Big Sisters Lunch Buddies with mainly 1st graders...maybe some kindergarters. there were more Little boys than girls so a lot of us seniors got boys. i REALLY wanted a girl (i love little girls, esp that age), but i got a boy named cory. the first day didn't start off too good. he declared to me, his mom (who was there), the big brothers/big sisters person who was there, and some others that he wanted a Big BROTHER (well i wanted a Little SISTER haha). i tried to get him to talk to me by asking him questions and stuff (and others tried to get him to talk to me), but he mumbled, kept saying he wanted a BROTHER, and ingored me (didn't answer, turned his back to me). ((am i really that bad when i don't talk or don't speak up? lol))
--math: TEST...ACT practice one. it wasn't too hard, we got to use old worksheets and stuff on it, so hopefully i'll do okay
--lunch: billie gave me the CD soundtrack for Once Upon a Mattress (if we gave her a burn CD she said she would burn it for us). i'm listening it to now. it's gonna be a good musical! i like the songs, and my most fav is "Song Of Love."
--theatre aide: studied for spanish. and watched the kids practice their scenes for notes. i love watching people act, so it was cool. oh and i must say i love those girls (and SOME of the boys lol)! tabitha, halli, victoria (i think she looks like my friend christina haha), jaci, and ericka ROCK! i have evidence that jaci goes to my church...which is so totally cool cause she's one of my top fav girls in that class!
--spanish: TEST. i think i did good. included in the test, we had to write 6 total verses/sayings, and i forgot one, but i think i did good on the rest. things were repeated...sometimes something was written in spanish on one part (we had to translate it to english) and we had to write it in spanish later, so i looked back for spelling lol
--english lab: PRACTICE ACT VERBAL TEST...verbal is usually my best ACT subject, and i finished in like 25min (i had a 45min time limit). i think i did good. like i said, i'm pretty good on verbal, and i have done that same practice test many times before
tonight: getting food, then meeting the huddle at a park to eat from like 6:00-7:00, then to the church building to meet with the freshmen to talk about high school and huddles and stuff from 7:00-8:00, then a huddle-mate's baptism. it's his birthday today...he's doing like i did...getting baptized on his 18th birthday.
