well, i found out about the homecoming king&queen nominates and who made the musical today!
i have always imagined myself being a queen nominate, and i always thought it would be cool. but i didn't make it. oh well. congratulates to all 4 queen nominates and all 4 king nominates--krystal, hilary, carrie, tricia, nathaniel, tray, colter, garrett. my choices for these nominates: hilary or carrie for queen; nathaniel or tray for king (garrett would be my 3rd choice, but colter will prob get it. oh well, he's cool too)
Someone: "who are you in the musical, julie?"
Me: "emily"
Emily: "no, i'm emily!"
Me: "no, i am!"
Jess: "no, Julie is Emily; Emily is Spaz"
well, i got a part the musical! i wasn't really nervous about making it lol. i'm Emily. i actually have a real girl name for a play this time lol (i've been like the nun, a townsperson, a saloon girl, multi-everyone was, the queen, Perrin-a boy lol, the Page, a tragedian, and the messenger). i don't know much about this part. i don't think i sing at all by myself, but some with the ensemble, which totally rocks my socks. i do NOT want to sing alone...i don't think i'm that good a singer lol. i think Emily is a small part. i don't think i have any lines. i would have liked one or two sentence lines but oh well. i think some small girl parts are doubling as Ladies or something, so that'll be cool...i think they have some lines together. i GOOGLE-ed the Emily character to find out more about it, and the sites i found described her as a maid, a lady, a chambermaid, a kitchenwench, a small part-can double as a lady in waiting, and part of the ensemble/chrous. fun. i'm glad it's a small part cause we open in like a MONTH. ha, don't want to try to memorize tons of lines for that close of a deadline lol. i don't care if i don't have any lines, im gonna go to the read through. haha i love read throughs--getting used to who everyone is and listening to the whole thing read aloud. lol. i can't wait for us to start working on this musical! theatre practices and theatre friends rock! love y'all
