Sept 16
today was...kinda boring..and some parts of classes weren't very good but yeah
--CISBA: we finished this assignment where we had to duplicate a document from the textbook, and it told us exactly how to copy it. then we had to duplicate a printout the teacher made, and the sheet didn't tell us what font to use or anything. the main font is pretty popular, so we firgued it out, but for some reason, most of the computers didn't have it. and some computers didn't have the clip-art we were supposed to use and stuff like that. not fun
--government: talk about the 2nd amendment: the right to bear arms. and mrs robbins told us about a gun that was out that looked like a toy and a friend was at a friend's house and shook the gun thinking it was a toy and it killed another girl...right before the girls' parent was supposed to come pick her up...
--class meetings/break
--english: we made a chart of details about Beowulf's 3 battles...we did the first one together so that was easy, but for those who didn't really understand the story (like me), we couldn't really get the rest. oh and i got my outline back for my research paper, and there's only small things i need to correct
--bible: we watched some boring movie. about the diseases that can happen because of sex.
--mathapps: we graded one section of our worksheets, then kept working on the rest. i keep getting stuck on some problems, and the class gets pretty hyper, so...yeah. yes, mrs harsh is nice to us. who should get the math apps award? hehe. harshy cracks me up.
--lunch: we had fresh bread, so i didn't get to eat with my friends. well i guess i could have but i feel like i should go to fresh bread.
--off period: i had no homework (well i have some stuff that i can't do at school cause i need a computer or it's selling ads for yearbook or something or i had stuff like math i could do but i hope i finish it tomorrow in the time we are given to do it...lol), so i had nothing to do. not fun. i did some studying kinda, and i tried to memorize my song for tryouts in case i didn't get to use the book for it, but i kept getting messed up on one verse or something...i kinda got it, but i had to stop and think about what was next and stuff...and when i try to sing it in tryouts i'll prob get nervous if i start to forget what's next...
--spanish: we had a little quiz, i think i did alright.
--yearbook: i found the ladder (or however that's spelled lol), and started on the 5th grade spread...i like it, but i think it could use more lol. oh and i talked to some people on AIM: jess, joe, katie, matt young, richard...hmm idk i think that was it lol
--after school: i was meeting mom and tara (my future sister-in-law) at 4:00 at someone's house (i had her in middle school for PE) to look at their wedding pictures. it was 3:40, so i had like 20min, and it was like 3min away. i kinda took my time leaving, but got there about 3:45, so i did some stuff in my car till tara and mom got there and then we went in. looking at the pics and visiting was from like 4:00-5:20, then i left to get to the 5:30 tryouts. i wasn't too nervous beforehand (well, just a little bit about making a fool of myself since i don't think i'm that good a singer)...i sang and read some lines and all (this one girl said i did good...i'm quiet around her...i bet she's just surprised i sang a whole song lol)...and NOW is the time to be nervous lol. idk how well i did...i think i'll get in anyway, but now it's just waiting to find out. if i had to guess right now if i am in and what part i have, i would guess yes, and a Lady, cause i had to read for that part like 3 times...i think that's all i read for. which would be good. i think that's the part i want, or something small. i don't care. from what i read yesterday and today, they don't have many singing lines, only a couple sentence lines, stuff like that. "please pass...please please please" (or whatever that line was)..."no-I..." i liked those lines lol. afterwards, i came home. mom said she got to see the lady's preschool she runs at her house and that it was cool. she said i should go back sometime--during my lunch period, after school, or when they have school and i don't.
tomorrow i find out who made the musicial & who the 6 (together) nominates are for homecoming queen and king that us seniors voted for. i find out these things from my two top favorite teachers lol (harsh is like in charge of all the homecoming stuff since she's the student council person...oh and yes it kinda stinks that i didn't win the student council election since she's like in charge of it, but it's all good...and billie is doing the musical). i'm not too worried about making the musical, but i kinda don't think i'll be a queen nominate. sad, but oh well, i'll live...somehow...haha jk. oh, and i don't have spanish cause of the PEP RALLY!! YAY! can't wait!
