my 2nd day was pretty good! all my morning classes were good (for the most part). at lunch, my mom brought me McDonalds, and the line was long so i got it kinda late, but i had time to eat as much as i wanted lol. me and some other people ate in billie's room like we did like all the time last year. it's so fun! i like eating in a room with just a few people as opposed to a roomful of people in the cafeteria. and we always have fun...being hmm...goofy...i guess, telling jokes, all that stuff. and the people are awesome -- billie, jess, carrie, em, ben, joe, nathaniel, and then a bunch of other people join us-- i don't remember who all it was today but two others were tricia and michelle. after lunch was bio2, but i'm dropping it...i turned in the form and got the OK after school today. and billie said i can be her aide on M/W/F...i'm soooo excited. i like hanging out with her because she's so nice and cool and all that, and i like watching others perform so it'll be cool. and i get to do stuff for billie, errands around school or whatever, so it'll be fun lol. it'll be weird at first but i'll get used to it lol i can't wait! i don't know what i'll do on T/T, but i have no classes then, so i can leave. after bio2 today i had spanish. yesterday i thought that would be the one class i wouldn't like this year but today it was ok. the teacher put pictures on the overhead and we listened to the picture words/phrases being said in spanish on a tape and then repeated them. we did the same words multiple times, so i kinda started getting them down better. and there are lots of pictures of, say, apples, but they are said different ways--sometimes 'apple', sometimes 'big apple', and sometimes 'small apple'. i feel like i spoke up louder today but idk lol. some of the pictures aren't too clear of what they are so i don't know what they are in english but i'm starting to understand how to say them in spanish (well, kinda. better than i did yesterday and at the beginning of today's class). after doing that for a while, we took a quiz. i only missed 2!! it was cool! so i made like an 80 (there were 10 questions so they were like 10 points each)!! what we did for it was-- the pictures were on the overhead and there was 3 columns of them, A-B-and C. and each picture had a number with it. so the teacher said one of the picture words/phrases, and we wrote down which column it was and which number in that column it was (A3 or whatever). after spanish, i had YEARBOOK for my first time my senior year!! yay, i loved that class last year, and i think it'll be really good this year. the people in the class are all pretty cool, and billie teaches it, so it's fun! today we talked about ads, talked about fonts for the book, did the first day handout, assigned spreads, stuff like that. actually, when the spreads were assigned, one was called out and someone said they would do it and if no one did then someone was assigned it. this year, i volunteered for some spreads (as opposed to last year where i didn't speak up and volunteer and i was just assigned some or something). i ended up with one that no one else wanted, which was two MS sports, which i don't really wanna do (and it's more fun to make a good-looking spread if you like the topic i think lol), but oh well. i can do it lol. oh yeah and NO MORE NEWSPAPER CLASS FOR ME HAHA. mr mann saw me walking to yearbook and stopped me again to say hi and talk for a while. haha anyways, i had a pretty good day, and was in a good mood driving home...that was cool lol. ever since i have been home i've been busy with school stuff and now i have a few more things to do, dinner, then bed...that's the bad thing about summer, not as much free time during school!
